Job Description

Store Manager - Stockton on Tees

40 hours per week. Store open 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

What you'll do
  • Deliver outstanding customer proposition: manage the branch, serve customers, check deliveries, pick items from the warehouse, stock shelves. You'll handle work in heat or cold while leading and motivating a team to achieve great things.
  • Deliver great service: ensure your team provides a great customer experience and drives sales through service.
  • Muck in: help the team get the job done - check & unpack deliveries, open & close the branch, stock shelves, clean the branch, put orders together.
  • Inspire: encourage a positive mindset, build a culture of feedback, praise and recognition.
  • Ask questions & build relationships: support your team's development, future business growth, and succession; ensure customers leave with everything they need.
  • Lead: coach, motivate and engage your team from the front, creating a great place to work where engagement is key.
  • Build a fun working environment: maintain product availability, high branch standards, and make the branch a place everyone loves coming to work.
