FABRICATOR/WELDER

The role of Fabricator/Welder will be based in a friendly and busy Fabrication department and the objective of the role is to weld/fabricate a wide variety of fabrications to produce the final product. Duties will include:

Responsible for welding lift car frames and other fabrications and working to a high degree of accuracy

Follow verbal and written instruction for the management team

Extensive liaison with other departments throughout the company for the complete cycle of a lift being built

Ensure that PPE and company uniform is worn at all times, including Respiratory Protective equipment

Responsible for ensuring correct storage and identification of parts, both within works areas and associated holding areas to achieve smooth feeding of materials and workflow

Maintain a high standard for health and safety and housekeeping throughout the factory

Responsible for completing all departmental paperwork in an accurate and precise manner

SKILLS:

Mechanical fitter experience

Welding experience

Ability to use electrical and manual tools

Enjoy working in a team

Excellent timekeeping and attendance record

Keen to commit long term to the role
