Job Description

Leo Group is one of the UK's leading specialists in animal by-products and renewable energy. We play a critical role in the food and agricultural industries collecting and processing material - which is converted into meals and oils for use in pet food, cosmetics, chemicals, and renewable fuel.

Key responsibilities:

In charge of press releases and communications with all media channels for the Group

Monitoring of social media, reporting viewpoints to Directors

Plan engagement with local residents to the production facilities

Attend engagement events with local residents of production facilities

Communicate with local elected officials / government bodies to organise visits and continual dialogue

Arrange site visits for various groups of representatives

Organise and attend meetings/talks with relevant local organisations to promote a positive image for the company

Create continual media content for posting on multiple SM channels including FB, LinkedIn and X

Head up the branding/imagery for all companies within the Group structure

Engage with the heads of departments for sub-companies about the their needs to communicate to Group Managers/Directors.

Attend local shows/events/job fairs to promote and teach about the company's activities and philosophy

Collaborate with various departments within the Group to decide a tactical approach to the relevant issues or events

Fluid working hours based on the events / meetings scheduled

Receive all CSR requests and manage their approval and potential funding

Engage with local residents on the doorstep or in local towns

Prepare all content and PowerPoint presentations for events/meetings where needed, including marquee and branding for marketing sales events attended annually by Sales Management Team.

Control and manage imagery for all sites, maintaining a catalogue of graphics to be used in various ways to promote the business and its operations

Essential requirements:

Chatty character and ability to engage with anyone

Great organisational skills to preplan events months in advance, or days in advance.

Ability to move between preplanned tasks, and urgent requests with tight deadlines

Learn and understand the business activities to positively promote the benefits of what we do with various stakeholders.
