This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Employment Partner or Senior Employment Solicitor to join a firm with strong momentum, a progressive culture, and genuine scope to shape and develop the department.
The Role
This position will see you take a leading role in the continued growth of the Employment team, working closely with the wider leadership group to develop both the offering and client base. You'll combine technical expertise with a commercial and strategic mindset, while mentoring and supporting a talented team around you.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the Employment team, driving its continued expansion• Play an active role in business development and networking initiatives• Build and strengthen long-term client relationships across a broad commercial client base• Advise on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters• Contribute to the wider strategic direction and growth plans of the firm• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, encouraging progression and development
About You
• Senior Employment Solicitor operating at Legal Director / Partner level• Strong background in leadership, team development, and client management• Commercially minded with proven business development capability• Experienced across a broad spectrum of employment law matters• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative leadership style• Based in Manchester or open to commuting into the city centre
