Registered Manager Children s Residential Home Staffordshire

Stephen James Consulting is partnering with a valued client to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for a children s residential home in Staffordshire supporting young people with learning disabilities, emotional & behavioural difficulties, and SEN needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, supportive home with a strong focus on safeguarding, quality care, and achieving positive outcomes for young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the children s home
  • Ensuring safeguarding and care standards remain fully compliant with Ofsted regulations
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the staff team
  • Supporting young people within a structured and nurturing environment
  • Managing audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Building effective relationships with families and external professionals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children s residential setting
  • At least 3 years combined experience across Deputy Manager and Registered Manager positions
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted standards
  • Experience supporting young people with LD/EBD/SEN needs
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or working towards)
