GLL is looking for Catering Manager, to work at National Squash and Regional Arena. The Role of the Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all catering operations at the centre. Ensuring that quality is delivered consistently, compliance with food safety standards, and alignment with GLL's and customer expectations. The catering Manager will focus on menu development, cost control, staff training and supplier relation management to maximise customer and client satisfaction and profitability.
What you'll do:
Overseeing the mobilisation of new catering offering for National Squash and Regional Arena.
Monitoring performance
Budgeting and resource management
Placing orders for stock
Training & development of staff
Assist in the recruitment of key staff
Keeping up to date with competitors' products & business trends
Reporting to Senior Managers
Compliance and safety
Strategic product development and support for all aspects of catering
Supporting operations within the café team.
What you need:
Knowledge of key performance indicators in the catering industry and their application and how they can be used to effect improvement.
Up to date knowledge of developments in the catering industry.
Willingness to promote Health & Safety Policy and a practical awareness of how to promote them.
Prior experience working in a within the catering industry

The basics:
This is a full time contract working 39 hours per week.
Working Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend
