Monitor plant utilisation and highlight underuse or over-hire to senior team members. Support the negotiation of hire rates and ensure cost-effective procurement of equipment. Process hire orders, off-hires, and invoices in line with company procedures. Ensure all hired equipment meets health, safety, and compliance requirements. Respond to breakdowns or urgent site requests, coordinating replacements where needed. Build and maintain strong working relationships with plant hire suppliers. Provide administrative support to the Plant Hire Manager as required. Skills & Experience Essential: Strong organisational and communication skills. Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel). Willingness to learn and develop within the construction/plant sector. driving licence and car is a MUST. Desirable: Previous experience in construction, logistics, or plant hire (including internships or placements).
