Quality CMM Programmer/Inspector Worcester Based - Double day shift £31,200 to £36,000 % shift premium (£39,000 to £45,000) The Company Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. We are currently recruiting for a CMM Programmer/Inspector within the Machining-Quality Department. After initial training this role will be working a Double Day Shift pattern in the Inspection Room. The role Program & operate our Zeiss Prismo CMM inspection machines. Complete independent Diametric & Geometric checks on both WIP & finished parts using the Zeiss CMM machines in the inspection room. Communicate any discrepancies with operators & team leaders. Recheck adjusted work for compliance to drawing & SOP requirements. Read & interpret Zeiss Calypso results & relate to machining activities. Collate data to liaise & aid in improvement activities with Machining Process Engineers. The person Quality & productivity focused, confident, flexible & highly motivated. Good communication skills are essential. Adept in Problem Solving. Good skills in mathematics, specifically trigonometry. Essential Criteria Experience of operating CMM machines. Have an understanding in how to navigate Windchill or similar PLM systems. Understand & can interpret engineering drawings. Desirable Criteria Program CMM's from drawings on 3D models. J ob Title: CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) Location: Cheltenham Job Type: Permanent Shift: Dayshift Salary: £45,000 to £48,000 per annum Job Summary: We are seeking a highly capable CMM Programmer with strong PC-DMIS experience to join a dynamic subcontract R&D engineering business. This role supports the development of innovative, often low-volume or prototype components across a variety of industries. You will play a key role in ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality during both development and early production phases, working closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
