Quality Inspector Plastic Injection Moulding South Birmingham (commutable from Redditch, Bromsgrove, Kings Norton, Northfield, Selly Oak, Longbridge and surrounding areas) £14.00 £15.00 per hour Monday Friday 6:00am 2:00pm Our client, a well-established plastic injection moulding company based in South Birmingham, is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join their growing quality team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or engineering inspection experience within the plastic injection moulding industry who has a strong eye for detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect components and finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and drawings Carry out first-off and last-off inspections in line with quality procedures Perform goods inward inspections to verify incoming materials Identify and record non-conforming parts and escalate quality concerns where necessary Support containment activities if customer quality issues arise Assist with quality documentation, reporting and data recording Work closely with production teams to resolve product quality issues Participate in general quality checks and audits across the shop floor Candidate Requirements Previous experience in a Quality Inspector / Quality Technician role within a manufacturing environment Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection Good communication skills and ability to work across different departments Positive attitude and willingness to support continuous improvement This is a permanent day shift position offering a stable opportunity with a growing manufacturing business.
