Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager
Location: City of Birmingham - hybrid working model available
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience) + benefits package!
The Role:
This role is integral to my clients growth strategy to double in size within five years. As a Corporate Tax Manager, you'll gain extensive exposure across various areas of Corporate Tax Compliance while working closely with their audit team and mentoring junior tax professionals. The important working that you will be doing:
- Manage the corporate tax compliance process for a portfolio of OMB and/or large corporate clients
- Liaise with the audit team to manage deadlines and provide tax provisions for statutory accounts
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients while managing junior team members to deliver work on time
- Provide training, feedback, and development support to junior tax advisors
- Direct line management responsibility for some junior team members
- Handle correspondence with HMRC and liaise with representatives as needed
- Work with senior tax team members to identify additional opportunities (e.g., R&D, transfer pricing)
- Support the advisory team on an ad-hoc basis
The Individual:
- ACA or CTA qualified
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Corporate Tax
- Experience working with owner-managed businesses and/or large corporates
- Strong Excel skills
