Area Sales & Key Account Manager - Pumps - The North

White Label Recruitment are working exclusively with a leading global pump manufacturer who are looking to hire two hires across the North (North West / North East - no Scotland):

  • Area Sales Manager
  • Key Account Manager

This is a proper pump sales environment, selling a broad range of pump and fluid handling solutions into chemical, food & beverage, utilities and general manufacturing.

1) Area Sales Manager - North

A classic territory sales role:

  • Roughly 50% account management / 50% new business
  • Managing and growing a regional customer base
  • Winning new business across end users, integrators and distribution
  • Full ownership of territory, pipeline and diary

2) Key Account Manager - North

A more account-led role, focused on:

  • Managing higher-value, key customers (e.g. utilities, major industrial users)
  • Growing existing accounts and developing long-term relationships
  • Managing higher-value, key customers (multi-site / national accounts)
  • Growing existing accounts and developing long-term relationships
  • Identifying opportunities within established customers

The Person (for both roles)

They are keen to speak to individuals who:

  • Have strong experience selling a wide range of pumps or fluid handling equipment
  • Come from either a manufacturer or distributor background
  • Have sold into industrial/process environments
  • Are comfortable managing their own territory, pipeline and customers
