Looking for a hands-on summer role? We've got an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy, high-energy site handling fresh fruit deliveries during peak season. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working as part of a team, this could be the perfect fit! Immediate starts available with work until the end of August or starts available at the end of June until the end of August.
Pay & Hours:
- £15.31 per hour
- 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights, Weekends)
- Rotating Panama shift pattern (great work/life balance with built-in days off)
What you'll be doing:
- Unloading full bins of freshly harvested blackcurrants from side-loading lorries
- Transporting bins to the intake area and positioning them for processing
- Keeping the flow moving by returning empty bins for reloading
- Supporting a smooth, continuous production line
- Carrying out daily equipment always checks and operating safely
- Communicating with the yard team to keep everything running like clockwork
- Pitching in with general yard duties when needed

What we're looking for:
- Valid, in-date forklift certificate (This can be Counterbalance, Reach, Flexi or VNA)
- Some experience in a busy forklift role
- Someone who is interested in being trained to operate a JCB Telehandler
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and keep things moving efficiently
- A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and communication skills
