Commercial Claims Handler - Wakefield Salary: Up to £40,000 Office-based, with flexibility where needed This role has come about as a growing independent brokerage continues to build out its team following the opening of a new office. The business is still relatively young, expanding quickly, and now at the point where claims handling needs dedicated ownership rather than sitting across brokers and executives. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to take control of the claims process and become the main point of contact for clients during what is often the most important part of the relationship. What You'll Be Walking Into At the moment, claims are handled by brokers and Account Executives alongside their day jobs. This role changes that. You'll be brought in to manage claims end to end, giving clients a smoother, more consistent experience and freeing up the wider team as the business grows. The claims mix is largely commercial, with a strong focus on liability and motor, but you'll also see a variety of other cross class claims depending on the client.
