Primary Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our Upper Key Stage Two team. The successful Primary Teacher will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Upper Key Stage Two curriculum.
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills, creating a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and the wider school team.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and trust.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching Upper Key Stage Two.
• Strong knowledge of the Upper Key Stage Two curriculum.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
