Client Care - Receptionist

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Dragon Vetson a full-time basis.

Dragon Vets is based at Cheltenham Racecourse. We are an air-conditioned practice with an in-house lab (including on-site blood gas analysis) and high-quality diagnostic and surgical facilities. We are fortunate to have access to on-site CT, DR and high-end ultrasonography, ECG, plus a selection of video-endoscopes. Our theatres are equipped with multiparameter monitoring (including capnography), Ligasure, and laparoscopic facilities.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You'll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

This is a full-time position working 37.25 hours weekly, which will involve a shift pattern between 8 am and 7 pm. You will also be required to work one Saturday morning, 8 am - 1 pm, every 4 weeks.

General responsibilities include:

• Communicating with clients over the telephone and face-to-face
• Multitask and prioritise workload accordingly
• Welcoming clients, booking appointments, taking payments
• Consistently providing a high level of client care
