Contract: Long-term to Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Commutable From: Greenwich, Southwark, Bromley, Peckham, Catford


The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Business Studies Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Lewisham area from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5, helping students develop a strong understanding of enterprise, finance, and real-world business concepts within a well-structured and ambitious department.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS4 & KS5
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Assess, track, and monitor student progress effectively
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support students in developing analytical and commercial awareness
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject
Experience teaching Business Studies in a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Commitment to safeguarding and high teaching standards
