Zen Educate is looking for a specialist Teaching Assistant to deliver high-impact Phonics Interventions at a thriving primary school in Halesowen. This is a dedicated KS1 role focused on narrowing the attainment gap through the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme.

The Role
Lead small group Little Wandle interventions across KS1.
Identify and support pupils falling behind the pace of the programme.
Work closely with the Phonics Lead to track progress and plan "keep-up" sessions.
Foster a love for reading and confidence in decoding across Birmingham classrooms.

Requirements
Essential: Recent experience or training in the Little Wandle phonics scheme.
Proven track record of delivering interventions in KS1.
A proactive, energetic approach to literacy and early reading.
Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
