Location: Halesowen (B62/B63)

Role: Teaching Assistant (Phonics Interventions)

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £104 £120 per day (DOE)

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Zen Educate is looking for a specialist Teaching Assistant to deliver high-impact Phonics Interventions at a thriving primary school in Halesowen. This is a dedicated KS1 role focused on narrowing the attainment gap through the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme.

The Role

  • Lead small group Little Wandle interventions across KS1.

  • Identify and support pupils falling behind the pace of the programme.

  • Work closely with the Phonics Lead to track progress and plan "keep-up" sessions.

  • Foster a love for reading and confidence in decoding across Birmingham classrooms.

Requirements
