The ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant will be able to:
- Support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Demonstrate previous experience working within an Early Years or primary school setting
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of children
- Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a mainstream classroom
- Encourage early development in communication, language, literacy, and numeracy
- Promote positive behaviour and support children s social and emotional development
- Adapt support strategies to meet the needs and abilities of all learners
- Build positive, professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating early years environment
