Job Title: Development Assistant

Location: Woodburn Court, Hamilton, ML3 6AN

Working Hours: 28 hours per week on a rota basis

Remuneration: £19,597 Starting Salary (salary during 6 month probation period)

£20,151 Salary (upon completion of successful probation)

About the Role

Hanover Scotland are excited to be recruiting for a Development Assistant to work 28 hours per week on a rota basis.

Responsibilities
  • Follow current COSHH and Health Protection Scotland Guidance
  • Follow Food safety Guidance if applicable to the service
  • Adhere to and satisfy Environmental Health and Food Regulatory conditions
  • Follow the agreed cleaning schedule to identify areas of concern or that need attention
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene at all times
  • Assist development staff with physical emergencies during the day
  • Assist development staff with identifying and reporting repairs, H&S concerns, and maintenance
  • Assist development staff with H&S checks to ensure compliance
  • Provide ancillary warden call support to development staff, handling calls when required.
Qualifications
  • Genuine passion for helping people
  • Demonstrable experience of empathising with and caring for the elderly
  • Able to follow cleaning schedules and procedures
  • Flexible approach to work with a can do attitude
  • Effective communication with basic writing skills
  • Basic ICT skills for e learning programs and company portal
  • Successful reference checks and satisfactory disclosure checks
