Welsh-Speaking Supply Teaching Assistant - Pwllheli, Gwynedd

£14.24 per hour Flexible Supply Work

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Supply Teaching Assistant to support primary and secondary schools in the Pwllheli area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for fluent Welsh speakers who are passionate about supporting children's learning and are looking for flexible work within education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting teachers in delivering lessons through the medium of Welsh and English
• Assisting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Promoting the use of Welsh in the classroom and supporting language development
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

Requirements:

• Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
• Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
• A supportive, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
