Job Description

The Company;

MTrec are currently recruiting for a prestigious manufacturing company based in the Durham area.

The Role;
  • Cutting, stripping, and preparing wires to specification
  • Crimping and assembling components using hand tools such as wire cutters
  • Inserting wires into cable heads accurately and efficiently
  • Operating air tools to seal cable casings
  • Carrying out dexterous assembly work with a high level of precision
  • Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards
  • Following all health and safety guidelines and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
The Person;
  • Good attitude towards work and always looking to learn
  • Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Physically fit, can be standing at workbenches for majority of shift
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow instructions and technical specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
