HGV & PCV Driver Trainer
Road to Logistics Suffolk (Otley) Starting September 2026
Road to Logistics is an award-winning training provider supporting people who face barriers to employment to access sustainable careers in the logistics and transport sector.
Since 2020 we have supported over 700 learners into training and employment through high-quality skills and employability programmes, working closely with employers across logistics, warehousing and transport.
We are now launching a new Driver Training Academy in partnership with Suffolk New College, based at their rural campus in Otley, Suffolk, and are seeking an experienced and qualified HGV / PCV Driver Trainer to lead delivery from the 2026 academic year.
This is a key role within the programme. The successful candidate will be the primary Road to Logistics representative on campus, responsible for delivering training and ensuring the academy operates to a high standard.
We welcome applications from both permanent employees and self-employed instructors.
The Role
You will deliver professional HGV and PCV driver training while overseeing the day-to-day running of the Driver Training Academy at the Otley campus.
As the on-site lead for Road to Logistics, you will ensure learners receive high-quality training, strong pastoral support and an excellent learner experience.
Many of our learners face barriers to employment, so we are looking for a trainer who combines strong technical expertise with a patient, supportive and nurturing approach.
This role requires someone who is confident working independently, maintaining training standards and representing Road to Logistics within our partnership with Suffolk New College.
