Die Casting Technician

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their preferred recruitment provider.
We are currently recruiting for a Die Casting Technician to join their team.
The main purpose of this role is to operate and set die casting machinery, ensuring consistent production quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus extra for piece work rates!

This role is full-time and permanent, working 40 hours per week (Monday Friday), with flexitime available!
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and operating die casting machines
- Adjusting tooling and parameters to optimise production
- Carrying out basic maintenance and fault finding
- Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards
- Recording production data and reporting issues
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
The ideal candidate:
- Proven die casting experience (essential)
- Experience setting and operating casting machinery
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of health & safety within production environments
