Serving award-winning food where fresh ingredients are all sourced locally in Devon, guests are spoilt for choice with 2 fine dining restaurants on site: a formal restaurant or a more relaxed, seafood restaurant. The hotel also owns the nearby pub which serves hearty coastal fare, and the incoming Chef de Partie must be flexible to support the pub too, when required. The kitchen team here are working to a high standard and have a real passion and drive to serve the best, fine dining food around. Our client is looking for a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie with proven experience in a fine dining environment. You'll need to demonstrate a strong understanding of culinary techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering consistency and perfection. This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen, who can contribute positively to a close-knit, driven team, and who is eager to learn and grow. Under the direction of the Executive Chef, you'll be at the heart of the action, responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes that are as visually stunning as they are delicious, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our client is looking for someone with an unwavering eye for detail and the ability to stay calm and collected, even when the heat is on! You must also be flexible to support the pub kitchen when required, serving high volume dishes during peak season. But it's not just about what you create; it's about who you help shape. You'll play a key role in mentoring and training junior chefs, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of excellence.
