Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver to join our team for a long-term contract based in Somerset. This role involves the transportation of water-based bitumen to various sites, ensuring all deliveries are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and timely delivery of water-based bitumen
- Operating tanker vehicles in line with all road and safety regulations
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures on-site and on the road
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card ( Not Essential )
- Previous tanker experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Good communication and reliability
