Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a whānau-focused, Iwi mandated, kaupapa Māori health and social services organisation. About the Mahi

This role in Huringa o Te Ao, has a primary focus on supporting tāne with behavioural change in ways that are whānau centred, culturally grounded, and focused on long term safety and wellbeing. The mahi recognises that meaningful change for tāne is inseparable from the wellbeing of the wider whānau.

You will work alongside other Kai Ringahora - Family Harm kaimahi, contributing to a connected Family Harm space that includes the mandated Non Violence Programme (NVP) and Safety Assessment Meeting (SAMs) responses. While this is not a SAMs only role, you may contribute into SAMs processes to ensure alignment between immediate responses and longer term change pathways for whānau, ensuring the voice of whanau is heard in system development.

About You

You will bring:

  • Minimum Level 4 Health and/or Social Services qualifications
  • Experience working in Family Harm, Non Violence, or behaviour change contexts
  • The ability to motivate and support change in others
  • Confidence working with tāne and engaging the wider whānau system
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and agencies, including Police and community partners
  • Full and current driver's license
