We are now seeking a Geography Teacher on behalf of one of our partner schools based in West London. This secondary school sets high expectations for both staff and students, promoting academic excellence across all subjects and maintaining good behaviour. The successful applicant will teach across KS3 and KS4 Geography, with the potential to teach KS5 also available. The school uses the AQA exam board for both GCSE and A level, therefore curriculum knowledge in these areas would be beneficial. Extracurricular activities are highly encouraged at this school, allowing staff and students to build a positive school community outside of lessons as well.
To be successful for this role, you will:
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have a degree in geography or a closely related subject
- Foster positive relationships with their students, setting and maintaining high expectations
- Demonstrate high standards of professionalism
- Communicate clearly and confidently, verbally and in writing
- Hold UK Right to Work
