A large part of the operation focuses on airfreight collections from UK and European airports for rapid distribution across the UK.If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and enjoy leading a top-performing transport operation, this is an opportunity to make a real impactAs Transport Manager, you'll be the go-to person for keeping the fleet running safely and efficiently. fleet compliance across Operator Licence, DVSA and regulatory standards maintenance planning to maximise fleet uptime Overseeing tachograph data, WTD reporting and driver compliance Driving high standards in defect reporting and fleet safety Supporting and developing driver performance Ensuring all licences, CPCs and records are accurate and up to date Managing vehicle issues quickly to minimise operational disruption Handling H&S matters, incidents and accident investigations Working closely with suppliers to manage costs and performance Supporting driver recruitment and onboarding Identifying and implementing operational improvements Acting as a subject matter expert on transport legislation and best practice Your experience Demonstrable experience within HGV transport operations CPC qualified (held for at least 5 years) Strong working knowledge of UK & EU transport regulations Experience within airfreight and/or European logistics A collaborative, hands-on approach Class 1 licence (desirable) Solid understanding of trucks and trailers Full UK driving licence If you have the skill and experience required for this opportunity - submit your CV for immediate review.
