Management Accountant

On an exclusive basis, greenwellgleeson are recruiting for Management Accountant to work with a growing manufacturing business in Dudley - this is an onsite role with occasional travel to other sites.

Duties of the role will include:

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and working capital reporting

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close in line with group standards

• Maintain and reconcile key balance sheet accounts (inventory, WIP, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany, provisions)

• Investigate discrepancies and ensure all balances are fully supported

• Ensure accuracy of financial data within the Epicor ERP system, including cost of sales, job costing, inventory valuation, and standard costing

• Oversee costing structures and ensure alignment with group reporting requirements

• Analyse manufacturing cost variances and identify root causes

• Collaborate with operations and FP&A to ensure consistency between financial and operational data

• Support forecasting processes and deliver financial insight

• Analyse operational performance, margins, and cost drivers

• Improve reporting processes and timeliness of financial information

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA

• Experience working in a manufacturing business

• Experience working for a small, growing business

• Strong Stakeholder Management

• Strong Excel skills
