  • Monday Thursday: 08 15
  • Friday: 08 30
  • Total: 37.5 hours per week

We are excited to be partnering with a key manufacturing business and are looking for a Repair Technician to join the team!

Repair Technician Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to support the testing, diagnosis, and repair of handheld electro†mechanical devices. This is a hands-on workshop-based position where you will troubleshoot faults, identify root causes, and complete high†quality repairs to ensure equipment is returned to customers in excellent working order.

Working within an engineering-led environment, the Repair Technician will collaborate closely with technical specialists and production teams while maintaining strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering reliable, safe, and accurate repairs.

Repair Technician Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults on handheld electro†mechanical instruments and testing equipment.
  • Perform component-level repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
  • Conduct functional testing to verify successful repair and calibration.
  • Work from repair instructions, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and follow workshop processes.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to support continuous improvement and recurring fault analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant proven experience in a similar repair or maintenance role.
  • Strong understanding of electro†mechanical systems.
  • Fault-finding experience across electrical and mechanical components.
  • Previous exposure to workshop or service/repair environments desirable.
