Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate embroidery machines efficiently, minimising downtime caused by thread breakages, empty cones/cops, or bobbins
  • Ensure embroidery quality meets a high standard and matches the design sheet at all times (key priority)
  • Prepare and plan upcoming tasks while machines are running to ensure smooth transitions between orders
  • Frame and position garments accurately according to customer specifications or standard placement guidelines
  • Take full responsibility for correct positioning, neat finishes, colour accuracy, and avoiding jump stitches or gaps
  • Carry out routine machine maintenance and coordinate maintenance schedules with other operators

  • Prevent operator-related errors such as incorrect badge rotation or thread mishandling

Teamwork & Shift Handover:

  • Support team targets and deadlines; assist Packers by removing backings and packing orders when machines are running and the workload allows

  • Report shortages of threads, cartons, bags, or embroidery and packing materials

Responsibilities & Standards:

  • Ensure neat, tidy, and professional embellishment at all times
  • Maintain machine and workspace cleanliness in line with Health & Safety regulations

Experience & Skills (Desirable):
