Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Location: Bristol or Cardiff
Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in office)

A new opportunity has arisen for a Contract & Commercial Litigation Solicitor, FCILEx or experienced Senior Paralegal to join a well-established national firm with a strong reputation for handling complex civil and commercial disputes.

This role sits within a highly regarded Litigation team, known for its structured support, strong leadership, and collaborative culture. The team works on a broad mix of contractual disputes, offering excellent exposure to both Claimant and Defendant work.

You will manage a varied caseload including:

• Commercial and consumer contract disputes
• Misrepresentation claims
• Professional negligence matters
• Construction-related disputes

The work is often complex and high value, with instructions coming from legal expenses insurers as well as private and commercial clients.

• Managing your own caseload of fast, intermediate and multi-track matters
• Advising both individual and commercial clients
• Progressing files through a case management system
• Handling client communication both remotely and in person
• Managing billing and file progression

• Be a qualified Solicitor, FCILEx, or experienced Senior Paralegal
• Have experience handling your own caseload of contract-based disputes
• Be confident managing fast and multi-track litigation
• Demonstrate strong organisational and problem solving skills
• Have excellent client care and communication abilities
• Ideally have experience working with insurance funded matters
