Focused on flavour through traditional techniques with contemporary twists, and using only the highest quality ingredients, Decimo showcases open fire cooking, two bar areas with exceptional cocktails, wines, tequila and mezcal, two semi-private dining spaces, and floor-to-ceiling windows providing dramatic views across the London skyline.
We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced individual who will capture the very essence of this culinary destination and join our team as Head Bartender.
Your role
As Decimo Head Bartender you will be passionate about service, with an exceptional working knowledge of bar operations and order of service; along with a deep understanding of cocktails, spirts, champagne, and quality wines, to lead and train the bar team. You will assist with cocktail prep, bar set up, and create and mix a range of signature cocktails in addition to the classics. As Head Bartender there is also the requisition, stock control, learning and development for the bar team, and implementing Health & Safety policies and compliance practices.
Finally, and most importantly, you will be a host, making our guests feel welcome whilst they visit The Standard and our energetic and vibrant city; so you will need to be highly social, upbeat and friendly; confident and can handle pressure well; thrive in a busy high volume, high energy environment and can manage multiple tasks and guest with ease.
