• General warehouse duties and stock management.
• Picking orders, loading and unloading and related paperwork.
• Customer service - dealing with customers in person.
• Driving forklift.
• The role offers scope to develop selling skills, customer service and an understanding of materials, stock control, orders and deliveries.
• Death-in-service coverage at 3x your basic salary.
• 30 days annual leave per year.

• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• GCSE Maths (minimum grade C or a good understanding of metric and imperial measurements and basic mental arithmetic).
• Proven teamwork skills.
• Naturally tidy and organised.
• Willingness to engage with customers and provide good customer service.
• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised once trained.
• Reliable, industrious, adaptable and quick to grasp new concepts.
• Manual handling up to 25kg.

Knowledge of timber materials and their usage, an interest in the construction industry and good numeracy. Good arithmetic, preferably GCSE Maths grade C.
