Location: East London

Salary: £32,000 - £55,000

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

A well-regarded East London high street law firm is seeking a Residential Conveyancer or experienced Paralegal to join its friendly and supportive property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a close-knit, collaborative working environment with genuine scope for growth and development.

The Role

You'll handle a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including leasehold and freehold sales and purchases. The role offers the chance to build up your caseload gradually, with plenty of support from an experienced team of conveyancers, paralegals, and administrative staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion.
  • Dealing confidently with leasehold and freehold sales and purchases.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with regulatory standards and firm policies.
About You

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, or Legal Executives, or
  • Experienced Paralegals with at least 2 years' hands-on experience of residential conveyancing case handling.

You should have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • A client-focused attitude and the ability to work efficiently within a supportive team.
