Are you an experienced retail Security Officer looking for your next Security role?

We're looking for a confident and experienced Security Officer to join our team and make a real impact.

In this role, you'll be more than just a presence, you'll be the face of safety and reassurance for both customers and colleagues. You'll deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a strong, professional presence at all times. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Conflict management expertise is also highly desirable.

• Pay Rate: £12.35 per hour
• Location: Shopping Centre, Manchester
• Role Requirements: SIA licence
• Shift Pattern: 3 week rotation

• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
• Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to
• Conduct foot patrols external within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the shopping centre
• Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorised by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety, and fire incidents
• Unlocking and locking of the shopping centre
• Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures
• Excellent communication skills to all levels - verbally, written, phone and by security radios
• Effective operation of all pass systems relevant to an assignment
• Practical working knowledge of all current and applicable equipment
• Sound working knowledge of health and safety instructions pertaining to assigned duties
• Conflict management expertise is also highly desirable
