Internal Communications Advisor - 9-month Fixed Term Contract, Frontier Developments
Location: Cambridge UK
Closing date: 15 April 2026

This role is offered on a full in-studio basis or a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week in the studio). We can provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.

WHAT'S THE ROLE?

We're looking for a capable and motivated Internal Communications Advisor to support the Studio Communications & Engagement team on a 9-month fixed term basis during a period of maternity cover.

This role is ideal for someone with some experience in internal communications who is looking to continue developing their skills. You'll deliver clear, engaging and effective internal communications that drive awareness, alignment and connection across the studio. You'll contribute to mid level communication campaigns and support the day to day running of core internal channels to ensure messages are accurate, timely and relevant.

You'll report directly to the acting Internal Communications & Engagement Lead and work within a collaborative team, partnering regularly with the People Team and other internal stakeholders. Your contribution will help maintain momentum on key priorities, campaigns and engagement activity. While this is a communications focused role, you'll also support employee events when required as part of the team's wider engagement strategy.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Delivering mid level internal communications, particularly operational updates such as IT, Information Security, Health & Safety, and compliance communications.
  • Writing, editing and publishing high quality content for a range of internal audiences, ensuring consistent tone and messaging.
  • Support content planning and scheduling across key internal channels, including Email, Microsoft Teams, Intranet and digital signage.
  • Moderating and maintaining internal channels to ensure information is clear, accurate and easy to access.
  • Building and sustaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to gather information, understand communication needs and develop relevant content.
  • Supporting the flow of information across the studio and within the Studio Communications & Engagement team.
  • Collecting and analysing engagement metrics to monitor performance and identify improvements.
  • Supporting internal events when required (approx. 1-2 evenings per month and 2-3 weekends per year).
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Experience in an internal communications role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and work to deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in communications or a related discipline.
BONUS IF YOU HAVE
  • Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop).
  • An interest in games or the entertainment industry.
