Banana Moon Day Nursery is excited to announce the opening of our recently opened new nursery and we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Room Leader to join our team. As a Room Leader in our new nursery, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and develop our early years environment from the ground up, creating a nurturing and stimulating setting for young children to thrive.

Your role will involve leading and managing your room team, planning and delivering high-quality care and educational activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and ensuring excellent communication with parents and colleagues. You will play a key part in establishing our nursery's culture, standards, and reputation within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners to provide outstanding childcare and learning experiences.
  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum activities based on EYFS.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children, parents, and staff.
  • Monitor and assess children's development and progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Build strong relationships with families and encourage their involvement in nursery life.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for your team, providing training and support as needed.
