We are currently recruitingCompound Driversto join our client's busy automotive operation in Great Yarmouth. This role is vital to supporting the smooth running of the site, ensuring vehicles are moved safely and efficiently through the production process.
The Role:
- Move vehicles from port to the compound.
- Road test vehicles on designated routes, including fuelling and/or charging at on-site facilities.
- De-wrap new vehicles and prepare them for the next stage of processing.
- Move vehicles from QC to storage areas, and from storage to load lanes for collection by transport companies.
- Support other departments by moving vehicles between areas of the PDI process to maximise daily production.
- Assist with additional tasks as required to ensure smooth production flow.
The Person:
- Full UK Driving Licence, held for at least 3 years.
- Must be 23 years of age or older (for insurance purposes).
- Maximum of 6 points on licence for minor offences.
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Flexible and able to support a busy automotive site with a variety of vehicle movements.
