Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Braintree, CM7
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + Overtime

We are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into Quality Assurance or build a long-term career within a structured and supportive environment.

This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day operations of the Quality department, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and customer regulatory standards.

• Support the smooth running of the Quality Assurance function
• Ensure effective containment of reported issues to prevent customer impact
• Carry out First Article Inspections in line with customer requirements
• Verify product conformity using inspection equipment (CMM, Keyence, shadow graph, micrometers, bore micrometers)
• Assist with root cause analysis of non-conformances
• Raise and manage corrective action reports
• Conduct internal audits
• Investigate quality issues and ensure timely resolution
• Support the Quality Manager with additional tasks as required

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible approach to workload

Previous experience in Quality Assurance is not required. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to transition into a quality-focused role.
