OVERVIEW
We are looking for an Engineering Administrator to support a long-established local company with a range of administrative duties on a 6 month assignment. You will be working in a small team to support the engineering department with their world-wide manufacturing solutions. You will have previous administration experience, with high attention to detail and organisation. This role is available with a prompt start, following the recruitment and interview process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day-to-day administrative support to the engineering department.
- Overseeing paperwork relating to a range of third-party contractors who provide various services to the site, ensuring compliance with company standards with completed paperwork, as well as document awareness to prevent over-due paperwork.
- Non-technical data entry into the internal system to ensure that all information available to the engineering department is accurate and correct.
- Supporting planned yearly site shutdowns with administrative planning, list creation, and organisation, closing shutdown inspection notifications, hard copy archiving into records.
- Reporting on month-end KPI performance to provide data to line management.
- Issuing and closing inspection work orders.
- Provide confidential administrative and organisational support to the senior leadership team.
- Organise and take notes of supplier / contractor and other third-party meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous relevant experience is essential
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Administrative experience, with strong IT skillset
DETAILS
- 6-month contract
- £12.21 per hour, paid weekly
- Full time (39 hours per week)
- Fully site based
- NR6 (free parking onsite)
