Transporting School Catering Assistant

School Catering Assistant based at Foxton Primary School 10 hours per week.

This Role: Involves transporting meals to another site

As a Catering Assistant, you'll play an important role in preparing fresh, tasty & nutritious meals and ensuring students and staff enjoy great food and service every day.

Responsibilities of a Catering Assistant:

• Provide courteous and friendly customer service
• Adhere to health and safety standards
• Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks
• Transport the meals to another school, setup and serve the meals, then clear down when service has finished
• You'll need a Full UK driving licence, business vehicle insurance, and your own vehicle to travel between sites
• Food hygiene level 2 certification is preferred, but training will be provided
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
• Great teamworking skills in a fast-paced environment
