People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Halesowen.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, including temp-to-perm.

This role is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver / Truck Driver / CE Driver.

Shifts:

• Days: Monday - Friday: start times between 05:00-06:00 Nights: Sunday to Thursday: start times between 18:00-19:00

Rates of Pay:

• Days:£17.00 per hour
• Nights: £18.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Depot-to-store delivery- maximum of two drops
• Carry out a maximum of two store deliveries per shift using a pump truck or by toting pallets off as required
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
• Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules

Essential Skills:

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• Valid UK Category CE driving licence • Minimum of two years' experience driving Category CE driving experience • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Good spoken and written English

Training:

• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
