Overview
Berry Recruitment is currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established distribution warehouse based in Chepstow. This role involves general warehouse duties in a busy environment handling a wide range of food products, including fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy, dry store ingredients, fresh meat, and fish.
This position offers consistent shifts and the potential to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently picking and packing products
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Working within chilled, ambient, and fresh-food areas of the warehouse
- Sorting, organising, and storing stock correctly
- Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene and safety standards
- Following all company health and safety procedures
- Collaborating with the warehouse team to meet daily targets
Requirements
- High-visibility jacket and safety boots (essential)
- Ability to work late shifts consistently
- Comfortable working in chilled and ambient environments
- Punctual, and able to work in busy environments
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
