Job Title: Optometrist (Part-Time) Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Optometrist to join a welcoming, community-focused optical team in Wandsworth. This is a part-time opportunity working four days per week with no weekend work , offering a supportive environment where you can deliver outstanding patient care while continuing to grow professionally. You will work alongside a large and experienced team, providing high-quality eye examinations, clinical advice, and tailored solutions to meet patients' individual visual needs. This role is ideal for a qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist who is confident, motivated, and committed to delivering excellent eyecare. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and sight tests in line with professional standards. Provide expert clinical advice and recommend suitable optical solutions for patients. Identify and manage ocular health conditions, referring patients where appropriate. Maintain accurate patient records and comply with GOC and professional guidelines. Deliver exceptional patient care and ensure a positive patient experience. Work collaboratively with the wider optical team to maintain efficient clinic operations. Stay up to date with clinical developments and best practices in optometry. Team Development: Support and encourage colleagues to maintain a positive and collaborative working environment. Share clinical knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous learning. Participate in professional development opportunities, including career progression pathways. About You: Qualified and GOC registered Optometrist. Confident and capable of delivering high-quality clinical care. Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A supportive team player who encourages colleagues. Motivated to succeed and willing to go the extra mile for patients. Well-being Services: Pension contribution. Paid GOC and College of Optometrists fees. Generous holiday allowance to support work-life balance. A structured career development pathway.
