Year 3 Teacher - Rochester
Permanent Full-Time September Start
A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Rochester is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September.
About the Role
As Year 3 Teacher, you will take full classroom responsibility, delivering engaging and well-sequenced lessons in line with the National Curriculum. You will create a structured and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel motivated to achieve their best.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons
- Supporting progress across English, Maths and the wider curriculum
- Using assessment effectively to inform teaching
- Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents
The Ideal Candidate
Applicants must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher qualification
- Hold GCSEs in English, Maths and Science (Grade 4/C or above) or recognised equivalents
- Demonstrate secure knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Show strong classroom management and organisational skills
