An outstanding independent SEN school in Berkhamsted is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Music Teacher to join their team from April until Christmas. The Role
- Deliver engaging Music lessons across the school, including GCSE Music
- Work with pupils with a variety of special educational needs
- Follow existing schemes of work while bringing your own creativity and expertise
- Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider teaching team
- Create a positive, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
Requirements
Essential:
- Prior experience teaching or covering GCSE Music
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering the secondary curriculum
- Ability to adapt teaching for learners with diverse needs
Preferred:
- Experience working in a specialist or SEN setting
- Understanding of SEMH, autism or complex needs
Open to:
- Qualified Teachers (QTS / QTLS)
- Unqualified Teachers with strong subject expertise and relevant experience
