SEN Primary Teacher Full-Time Monday Friday Long-Term Opportunity Daily Rate: £160 £280 per day

We are seeking a
compassionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in
Twickenham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils within a
SEN primary setting, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful candidate will work with pupils across
Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, including those with
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as
Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils in KS1 or KS2
- Support pupils with additional learning needs through personalised teaching approaches
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and support staff
- Implement strategies outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to support development
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience teaching in a Primary school setting (KS1 or KS2)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN / SEND
- A patient, calm, and nurturing approach to behaviour and learning
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification (preferred)
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
