Warehouse Packing Operative On-going temporary Pertemps - Working with a Local Independent CompanyPertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, local independent company Packing Operative to join their friendly and supportive team on a
temporary on-going basis.This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and is happy to support across both office and warehouse functions when required.
SalaryHours of Work Flexibility is essential, as start times may vary:
- Initially: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm
- Increasing to: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm during busy periods
The Role Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for dispatch according to order specifications.
Stand for extended periods throughout the shift and carry out tasks that require good physical fitness.
Methodically cross-reference product codes, batch numbers, and order details to ensure correct items are packed.
Inspect items for quality, damage, or defects before packaging.
Follow established packing procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency.
Label packages clearly and correctly in line with internal processes.
Maintain an organised, clean, and safe work area.
Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Report any discrepancies, stock issues, or quality concerns to supervisors.
Follow all health, safety, and manual-handling guidelines at all times.
