Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday No weekend work, Days
Key Highlight: Early finish at approximately 13:00 on Fridays
You will be responsible for Class 1 bulk deliveries (not heavy multi-drop) across the UK our clients valued customer base. This is stable, structured work with consistent overtime opportunities rather than chaotic shift patterns ideal for drivers seeking predictable routines and reliable earnings.
THE ROLE

• Perform bulk load deliveries professionally and safely
• Assist with vehicle loading and ensure loads are securely fastened
• Accurately complete all delivery documentation
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain full compliance with transport regulations
• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, representing Archwood positively

YOU

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Proven reliability, excellent timekeeping, and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working independently while delivering great customer service
• Positive, flexible attitude especially towards short-notice overtime
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers

Earnings & Benefits

• Basic Rate: £12.70 per hour (£24,519.38 per annum based on 37 hours)
• Overtime Rate: Time and a half £19.05 per hour
• Overtime Availability: Average 13 hours per week
• Typical Earnings with Overtime: Approximately £37,441.74 per annum (realistic and achievable)
• Additional Allowances: £20 per night out (average 1 2 nights per week) + meal allowance
